Our work environment and culture is based on our four main values – faith-centered, life-lifting, better together, game changer, and joy-fueled.What Will You Do?The Video Content Creator and Editor will support the mission of Abide, along with the LLC, by capturing, producing, and editing high-quality video content that tells compelling stories, promotes engagement, and reflects the heart of our organization.This person will play a key role in documenting the transformational work happening while collaborating with the CEO and Executive Assistant to plan and execute content shoots. You will also help collaborating with scheduling content days, organize media assets, and assist with the uploading and publishing of final videos.This role will also involve helping to set up and maintain our podcast studio space for ongoing use, ensuring the setup is ready for consistent content creation.How Will You Do It?• Capture, shoot, and edit both short-form and long-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and our websites• Plan and coordinate content days in collaboration with the CEO and Executive Assistant• Help brainstorm, schedule, and organize content ideas that align with the voice, mission, and upcoming initiatives• Edit videos to include branded elements, sound design, music, motion graphics, and subtitles when needed• Help upload and publish video content across platforms, ensuring proper formatting, metadata, and optimization• Assist in writing basic video descriptions, titles, and tags to support engagement and SEO• Help set up, organize, and maintain a functioning podcast studio room including lights, microphones, cameras, and backdrops• Organize and manage digital media files, footage, and final assets• Support with capturing behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, community events, and leadership content• Stay up to date on content trends, tools, and best practices in video and social media• Occasionally support other creative media, communications projects, and social media strategy and executionWho Are You?• Creative storyteller with a strong visual eye• Self-starter with excellent time management and organization• Comfortable using DSLR or mirrorless cameras, basic lighting, and audio gear• Experienced editor with knowledge of Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar editing software• Comfortable collaborating with a small team and receiving feedback• Knowledgeable in current video and social media trends• Flexible, adaptive, and solution-oriented• Passionate about Abide’s mission and using media to elevate impact• Able to lead and execute projects independently• Excited to be part of a faith-based, purpose-driven organization
