Position: Work from Home Pharmacist- Must reside in AZ, TX, ID, IL, MT, NV, NM, KS, OKOverviewAdecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring remote pharmacists. For this role must reside in one of the following states Arizona, Texas, Idaho, Montana, Illinois, Nevada, New Mexico, Kansas, or Oklahoma . This role is work from home and all equipment is provided. Training for the first four weeks is Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm CST. This training time is subject to change. After training, the shift is an 8-hour schedule with one half-hour or one hour lunch. Candidate must be available as early as 5am and as late as midnight. Candidate will work 5 days a week which may or may not include a weekend day(s).PrimaryResponsibilities• Serve as a clinical resource working from a computer, reviewing prior authorizations and receiving phone calls from prior authorization pharmacy technicians and/or healthcare providers to gather, clarify, and assess detailed clinical information.• Interpret medical and pharmacy policy criteria to make sound and timely coverage determinations in accordance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines.• Consult directly with prescribing physicians and healthcare providers to clarify clinical questions, interpret guideline criteria, and provide decisions on prior authorization requests.• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and/or prescribers to provide clinical insights on appropriate medication usage.
