Participates in collaborative practice and/or protocol-driven practice as appropriate. Additionally, pharmacists are active members in quality improvement, research activities, and education as described in the job specific competencies.Specifically, the Weight Management Primary Care Pharmacist will be a primary care pharmacist responsible for managing patients who fall out of a nurse protocol for weight management medications, primarily GLP-1 agonists. Responsibilities include Medication Therapy Management (MTM) or Medication Management Services (MMS) including comprehensive medication reviews, targeted medication reviews, and non-visit care.This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.QualificationsRequired QualificationsGraduate of an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program OR Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
