SAFARI Montage will consider for employment qualified applicants located in:FL, GA, IN, MI, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX and UT.Duties and responsibilities:We are seeking candidates with an equal blend of User Interface/User Experience design and development expertise. The successful candidate will participate in the full product lifecycle, working with stakeholders and fellow Development team members to capture and analyze new product features and requirements; designing and prototyping proposed user experiences and interfaces in Figma, Adobe XD or similar; and developing in all application tiers to deliver new product features. Reporting to the CIO, the UX Developer will be responsible for the following:• Developing web application and architecture with a focus on the front-end;• Designing and prototyping user experience workflows and UI for company’s digital learning platform using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar;• Ensuring applications meet all relevant accessibility standards; and,• Ensuring applications are responsive to desktop and mobile clients;• Integration with back-end website architecture and limited back-end development;• Staying abreast of developments in web application architecture, languages, and frameworks;• Contributing to creation of internal development standards for web-based applications; and,• Other duties as assigned.Skills and Qualifications:• Exceptional UI/UX interface design and development experience, including rapid-paced prototyping and refinement to produce highly effective user experiences;• Expert-level skills in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar;• Strong command of web application design & development technologies (HTML, PHP, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, XML, JSON, CSS);• Experience with JavaScript and other frameworks, such as Vue and Nuxt, or similar;• Experience developing web applications for cross-platform delivery;• Database development experience using PostgreSQL or similar;• Experience with application development in Azure, AWS or similar cloud environments;• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards;• Experience developing high-availability applications a plus;• Experience with streaming media / video / multimedia a plus;• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment;• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in dynamic team environment;• Solid organizational skills; and,• Strong communications skills.Required Experience:• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant areas above in a corporate setting; 3 years specializing in UI/UX;• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study; and,• Experience working in K-12 education sector a plus.Successful completion of a background check is required for this position.
