From advancing digital solutions to driving health equity, these departments extend the healing presence of humankindness everywhere we serve.Responsibilities: This position is responsible for continually monitoring patients that have been identified as being at high risk of falling, elopement, illicit drug / alcohol use, disoriented/demented, pulling out lines/tubes and/or other areas of potential concern. The Travel Patient Companion monitors patients located in multiple CommonSpirit Health facilities across the United States. The patients have been identified as requiring observation on a continual basis in order to quickly identify circumstances that could impact their ongoing safety and care. Monitoring is executed from a CommonSpirit Health System Office, utilizing live non-recorded streaming video equipment to ensure that patients are interacting with the environment in a safe and appropriate manner at all times. As a travel patient companion, you will have the ability to travel across CommonSpirit Health to provide your expertise when staffing needs arise.Work Requires:Qualifications:• High School Diploma, or equivalent required• 2 years of prior and recent experience in patient care (e.g., CNA, Unit Clerk, MA, LVN, etc.)• Current Nursing Assistant Certification• Satisfactory completion of the competency based training program as a Virtual Companion at CommonSpirit Health• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the function and use of the streaming video monitoring equipment.This offer from "CommonSpirit Health" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 75% flex score.[ad_2]
