You’ll balance operational excellence with forward-looking talent strategy—owning the systems, processes, and programs that power our People function today, while helping design the learning, development, and cultural foundations that will define Mongoose’s future. Longer term, the scope of this role is expected to expand to include a deeper focus on scaling learning, leadership, and growth programs across the organization.nWhat You'll Do• Lead People Operations with Excellence: Manage and continuously improve core People programs—from onboarding and benefits administration to compliance and systems—ensuring every process reflects efficiency, consistency, and care. You’ll keep things running smoothly, identify areas to streamline, and create the operational infrastructure that helps our people and teams work at their best.• Run Consultative GTM, Product & Engineering Recruiting: Partner with hiring managers as a thought partner, not an order taker—clarify role outcomes and success metrics, design structured interview plans with competencies and rubrics, set clear SLAs, and drive a best-in-class candidate experience. Build diverse pipelines, calibrate with panels, coach interviewers, and optimize the funnel using data (time-to-fill, pass-through rates, source quality) to improve quality and speed without sacrificing standards.• Build the Foundation for Growth & Development: Partner with the VP of People Operations to co-design and implement initiatives that strengthen how we hire, grow, and develop talent. You’ll help operationalize programs around performance development, manager training, role clarity, and DEI—laying the groundwork for scalable learning and talent frameworks that can evolve with the company.• Drive a Remarkable Employee Experience: Be the champion of an employee journey that feels intentional and engaging from start to finish. You’ll support initiatives around engagement, recognition, and well-being—using data and feedback to identify what’s working, where we can improve, and how we can make Mongoose an even better place to work.• Be a Systems & Process Pro: Own the systems and workflows that bring structure to the People function—ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and integration across tools like iSolved, ChartHop, and Learn & Grow. You’ll turn insights into action, helping leadership make informed people decisions through metrics and reporting.• Collaborate & Communicate: Partner closely with Finance, Operations, and department leaders to ensure alignment across every stage of the employee lifecycle.
