We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!*Required:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.• Experience with full-stack development building web apps, using modern programming languages such as:• Proficient in React and TypeScript for Front end• Proficient in TypeScript for the Backend• Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex data projects at scale, with a deep understanding of data infrastructure and distributed systems.• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with experience designing and optimizing data pipelines.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions and drive alignment across teams.• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing engineering teams.• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results under tight timelines.Desired:• Experience developing production-quality LLM applications and using modern agent frameworks such as Langchain, Langgraph, Llamaindex, LangSmith, LangFuse, CrewAI, and/or others is a plus.• Expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and cloud-based data services (AWS/GCP/Azure).LocationThis role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.TravelWe prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:• Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $167,800 – $209,700.• Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $177,700 – $222,100.• Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $197,400 – $246,700.• This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan.
