We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to support accounting functions that help our operations run smoothly and accurately, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, employee expense management, and month close tasks. This is a part-time position with an initial expectation of 10-20 hours/week.What You’ll Do:• Manage bank reconciliations and Cash Accounting• Collect and review invoices, managing accounts payable for 150 vendors, code and route appropriately in Bill.com• Serve as the point of contact for employee expenses, fielding questions and managing monthly reimbursements via Expensify• Credit card accrual and reconciliation• Maintain lease schedules and manage payment and reconciliation• Reconcile expected debt payments and book debt cash entries monthly• Review P&L and book accrued expenses not yet billed• Prepare and pay taxes and insurance as neededWhat You’ll Bring:• 2-4 years general accounting experience including accounts payable, expenses, and bookkeeping• Experience with bank reconciliations, accrual accounting, and month close• Expertise with financial operations platforms (we use Bill.com)• Experience with expense management software (we use Expensify)• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy• Self-starter who can succeed with minimal direction• Strong communication and collaboration skillsExpected Hourly Rate: $30 - $35/hr____________________________________________________________________________________________What It’s Like Working Here• We thrive on collaboration, because we believe that we can only put our best work into the world when we work together to solve problems.• We empower each other and believe in ensuring all voices are heard.• We know the importance of feedback in individual and organizational growth and development, which is why we've embedded it into our practice and culture.• We’re curious and go deep.
