ECS is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to work remotely . Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.As a leading managed cybersecurity services provider, ECS delivers a highly tailored and customized offering to each customer. The Professional Services Team is responsible for working with our customers to understand their needs and delivering a complete solution. We will leverage your unique skills to help solve customers’ challenges, such as engineering a system to address a technical hurdle, protecting customer data, or consulting on a wide range security topics. You are empowered to engage and lead across multiple groups and must have the self-sufficiency and focus to work well without constant oversight.Responsibilities• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity projects and initiatives , ensuring alignment with enterprise or mission security objectives.• Develop and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, and milestones to deliver cybersecurity capabilities such as threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance automation.• Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies, NIST and ISO standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.• Manage project scope, resources, budgets, and risks , ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery of technical security solutions.• Coordinate across cyber operations, engineering, cloud, and risk management teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration of cybersecurity technologies and processes.• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project delivery, cybersecurity maturity, and stakeholder satisfaction.• Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate success criteria, document lessons learned, and identify opportunities to enhance security effectiveness.• Stay current on emerging threats, evolving compliance mandates, and innovative cybersecurity technologies to proactively guide program strategy and project planning.SalaryRange: $155,000 – $175,000General Description of BenefitsQualifications• Cybersecurity Project Management: Proven ability to lead complex cybersecurity initiatives spanning areas such as cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint protection, and SIEM/SOAR deployment.• Technical Understanding: Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and technologies, including NIST RMF, MITRE ATT&CK, zero trust architecture, and cloud-native security controls.• Leadership: Experience directing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating stakeholders, and providing clear technical and operational direction in a cybersecurity context.• Risk Management: Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project and technical risks impacting information assurance and compliance.• Communication: Strong ability to articulate security program objectives and technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.• Analytical Thinking: Adept at translating cybersecurity metrics and data into actionable insights for continuous improvement.• Collaboration: Effective at building partnerships across IT, engineering, and governance functions to ensure integrated cybersecurity delivery.• Strategic Mindset: Capable of developing and implementing initiatives that strengthen cybersecurity posture and operational resilience.• Attention to Detail: Maintains precision in documentation, risk registers, compliance reports, and technical deliverables.• Negotiation & Conflict Resolution: Skilled at balancing mission goals, technical constraints, and stakeholder expectations to achieve successful project outcomes.• Travel & Clearance Readiness: Willing to travel domestically or internationally for short, planned engagements; must possess and maintain a valid U.S. Passport.
