The Legal product and engineering team is responsible for ensuring that Pinterest scalably complies with all new and existing regulations, and advocates for Pinner privacy and safety, data governance, and rights holders.What you’ll do:• Understand legislative landscape, both globally and domestically, to inform prioritization• Partner with Legal and Public Policy to provide input and feedback on upcoming legislation• Contribute to the long-term strategic planning by defining and establishing the direction of the legal compliance roadmap• Lead key projects, partnering with Legal, Operations, Policy, Engineering and other product teams across Pinterest• Optimize internal tools and processes to increase the efficiency of our Legal Operations teamWhat we’re looking for:• 5+ years of experience in a role related to product development, at fast-growing technology companies• Experience and demonstrated passion for legal and/or copyright/rights-related initiatives OR internal tooling• Proven ability to lead teams and work in a highly collaborative environment• Capable of driving clarity while balancing multiple perspectives and stakeholders• Comfortable diving into ambiguous technical problems, working closely with engineering teams• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally to many stakeholders• Great business judgment and ability to influence others with strong analytical thinking• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experienceIn-Office Requirement Statement:• We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style.
