In this position you would be a key part of the Operations team. You will build a career with a high-tech company working in a hands-on environment. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the broad range of equipment, processes, and technologies employed in our operation.Responsibilities• Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (such as electric pallet riders, order pickers, and forklifts, etc.)• Utilize RF technology to perform distribution functions such as picking, packing and shipping orders, receiving, put away and stock replenishment• Deliver material to production lines in a timely manner• Learn and use our inventory management system and enter materials transactions• Work with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders• Maintain a clean and safe work environmentQualifications• Flexibility to work 8:00am-4:30pm shift or 9:30am-6:00pm shift and overtime as needed• Prior experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment (preferred)• Desire to learn additional warehouse equipment (PIT)• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent• Have a valid Driver’s License• Basic math and computer skills• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.• Ability for continuous learning• Ability to stand for an extended period of time• Ability to move to surrounding workstations• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English• Ability to work safely, wear appropriate PPE, and follow safety proceduresLutron Electronics’ position as the worldwide leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions has enabled consistent, annual growth.
