Senior Oncology Nurse - Remote OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oncology Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting independent physician offices with maintaining member drug infusions in office or locating lower-cost treatment sites.You will discuss financial and clinical considerations with members who are considering care at higher-cost treatment sites, research available financial programs to decrease out-of-pocket expenses, and coordinate lower-cost site of service for drug administration if the provider is referring due to convenience factors.This position requires strong clinical knowledge of medical specialty drugs and management of those drugs. You must also have the ability to apply evidence-based guidelines in relation to clinical findings and function independently as well as part of a team.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be detail-oriented. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for oncology nursing, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Key Responsibilities:• Provides site of service solutions to patients seeking care at non-preferred treatment sites• Discusses the financial aspect of specialty drugs with members and ordering physicians• Coordinates drug infusion at alternate lower-cost treatment sites and concomitant services• Supports members in optimizing their treatment outcomes using critical thinking skills• Maintains accurate case records and adheres to company policies and laws governing patient recordsRequirements:• Associates - Nursing degree• Bachelors - Nursing degree• Registered Nurse (RN) with State and/or Compact State licensure• 5 years of post-degree clinical experiencePreferred Qualifications:• Oncology experience• Experience with chemo-therapy drugs• Comprehensive clinical knowledge of medical specialty drugs and managementBenefits:We offer a competitive compensation package, including salary range $74,000 to $118,000 based on experience and skills.
