Join us, and your work will directly shape how millions of students learn.POSITION SUMMARYThe Scrum Master / Project Manager is a member of the Agile Delivery Management Team and will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring project success across multiple cross-functional teams. This role will support the planning and delivery of technology initiatives, product development projects, and enterprise IT efforts. The Scrum Master / Project Manager will create and maintain project plans, track progress, and provide clear, transparent communication of project health to stakeholders and executive leadership. They will collaborate closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that deliverables are on time, in scope, and aligned with business priorities.This individual will have hands-on experience as a Scrum Master and project manager, balancing servant leadership with delivery accountability. Future projects may include large-scale Agile initiatives, enterprise systems implementations, and process improvement efforts.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESScrum Master / Agile Facilitation• Facilitate scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement) for assigned teams• Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog and ensure clearly defined sprint goals• Remove impediments, manage risks, and escalate blockers to maintain team focus and momentum• Track and report team health, velocity, and other Agile metrics to inform continuous improvementProject Management• Facilitate cross-functional discussions of project status, major issues, and launch plans• Understand and direct/participate in all phases of project implementation on small to medium-sized initiatives• Track and ensure resolution of follow-ups, dependencies, and action items• Lead, monitor, and report on active projects with clear and transparent communication to stakeholders• Create and track progress against project plans / timelines, roadmaps, and release schedules• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and align schedules for deliverables• Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to executive leadership• Ensure projects, releases, and product features are delivered on time, on budget, and in scope with a focus on delivering value• Drive operational readiness and release planning activities for new deliverables• Facilitate vendor management and support third-party integrations when applicable• Gather and report on project and team performance metricsPersonal Characteristics• You possess high emotional intelligence and excel at building trust across teams and leadership levels• You lead with a servant-leadership mindset and foster collaboration, empowerment, and accountability• You are proactive, action-oriented, and solution-focused, with a bias for removing obstacles quickly• You inspire a culture of continuous improvement, positivity, and team growthPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.• 3–5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or similar role• Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and guide multiple cross-functional teams• Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex technology projects• Experience working in Agile environments and managing dependencies• Proficiency in Agile and project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, MS Project)• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills• Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and maintain focus under pressurePREFERRED Skills and Experience (nice to have):• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification• PMP or similar project management certification• Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks• Experience in EdTech
