Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rylem Staffing is seeking a Supply Chain Planner 3 for a contract role. The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials according to production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and stakeholder engagement.Responsibilities• Act as the face of the SCOM organization to our partners/Engineering Groups to understand customer delivery requirements and develop/implement strategies in support of those business needs. Role will routinely interact with Sr. Management teams both internal within the Supply Chain and MS Business Groups• Own the end-to-end fulfillment of a Network CORE line of business (Core Switches, Optics, 400G) for APAC region and to manage 400G dock smoothing orders globally• Accountable for order fulfilment within aggressive on-time delivery targets to include internal stakeholder management and cross-team actions needed to ensure adherence to delivery commitments• Drive stakeholder engagement with cross-functional teams and 400G dock smoothing process improvement initiatives• Act as the face of the SCOM organization to our partners/Engineering Groups to understand customer delivery requirements and develop/implement strategies in support of those business needs• Routinely interact with Sr. Management teams both internal within the Supply Chain and MS Business Groups• Own the end-to-end fulfillment of a Network CORE line of business (Core Switches, Optics, 400G) for EMEA region and to manage 400G dock smoothing orders globally• Accountable for order fulfilment within aggressive on-time delivery targets to include internal stakeholder management and cross-team actions needed to ensure adherence to delivery commitments• Drive stakeholder engagement with cross-functional teams and 400G dock smoothing process improvement initiatives aimed at on-time delivery improvement, process and tools optimization, agility, predictability, gap analysis and scalability• Accountable for operational performance metrics to include, but not limited to, On-Time Delivery, and order book health metrics such as ETA Timeliness to SLA, ETA Change, and PO’s Exceeding CT/Need by Date• As the owner of Network performance metrics, identify the pareto chart of reason codes for gaps in performance, derive insights from this data to accelerate improvement, and influence others (or lead) actions necessary to drive continuous improvement across the team & all lines of business• Proactively communicate missed SLAs (look back at actuals) & projecting future risks (look forward/risk mitigation)• Serve as point of contact for expedites and escalations for supply shortages from various internal teams• Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications• Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities• Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands• Revise production schedule, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages or other interruptions• Distribute production schedules and work orders to departmentsSkills• 5-7 years of related experience required• Strong supply chain background with sourcing experience (managing suppliers, holding them accountable)• Proficiency in Power BI/Tableau for analytics• Demonstrated program/project management experience• Strong soft skills: communication, attention to detail, analytical mindsetEducation Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain• Master Degree preferredBenefits• Medical• Vision• Dental BenefitsCompany Overview• RYLEM Staffing is an agency specializing in IT, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, HR, and Creative roles across the US.
