The Cigna Group is focused on transformational change efforts across enterprise initiatives, and they are seeking a UX Research & Strategy Lead to provide expert support. This role will partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to facilitate the adoption of changes while maximizing stakeholder engagement and minimizing resistance.Responsibilities• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand research requests, identify problem/opportunity areas, and build relationships across business units.• Coordinate and guide Colleague Technology Experience (CTX) sub-teams to ensure alignment with colleague experience plans and project timelines.• Serve as a subject-matter expert and key partner in research design and analysis, utilizing traditional and modern methodologies.• Create effective and comprehensive research plans for both one-time and ongoing project work; review past research for optimization opportunities.• Support the design and creation of research artifacts such as user personas, journey maps, experience maps, and success metrics (KPIs).• Drive large survey efforts, create dashboards, and provide quantitative insights for strategic and roadmap planning.• Champion the voice of the colleague in stakeholder conversations.• Collaborate with project leadership and end user experience owners to integrate learnings into overall program and measurement.• Mentor research team members to establish and promote consistent, rigorous research practices and standards.• Proactively investigate new processes, techniques, and emerging technologies for user research.• Provide strategic ideas and suggestions for research team improvement to management.• Effectively navigate competing priorities to deliver quality results on time.• Drive product and delivery improvement at the systems level through effective communication and relational influence.Skills• Proven experience in qualitative user-centered design methods, quantitative behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts.• Experience creating journey maps, affinity maps, personas, and design heuristic analyses.• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), survey tools (UserZoom, User Testing, Verint, Qualtrics, etc.), and statistical software.• Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and organizational skills.• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail.• Experience collaborating within design teams and cross-functionally (program management, product management, engineering).• 6+ years’ experience in applied UX and product research, planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research in complex environments (or a master’s degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree).• Hybrid schedule is preferred.
