Online River is seeking qualified candidates for the Data Entry Operator position, where individuals will code and enter data into a computer system or database and verify the accuracy of the data entered.Clerk typists perform clerical work involving the processing of documents and information requiring computer literacy. Clerical work is performed in accordance with standardized department procedures, and ability to meet deadlines is imperative.Clerk typists perform a variety of duties, including contact with other offices and/or the public to relay factual information or to explain simple procedures .Key Responsibilities• Process substantial amount of case information accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance to Court rules.• Enter all complaints and citations filed by the police and the public into the statewide computer database.• Maintain confidentiality on all matters.• Post payments, issue receipts, balance money daily and make bank deposits.• Manage payment plans and process monthly bookkeeping reports and data, issue and print checks.• Log events and transactions such as applications, telephone messages, hearing dates and decisions on cases.• Perform receptionist duties by greeting visitors and directing them appropriately.• Prepare outgoing mail and process incoming mail.• Keep inventory of office supplies and make orders as necessary.• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.• Prepares draft and final-form technical documents, which will become deliverables under the task. Must be capable of using word processing software typing technical narratives and data. Responsible for the spelling, grammar, proper format, and proofreading of finished documents. One year of technical typing is required.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise• High School Diploma or equivalent.• Experience in related area performing secretarial or general office work in an office with considerable public contact, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training that demonstrates the desired knowledge, skills and abilities.• Working knowledge of computer word-processing and Microsoft Office applications, and Google.• Knowledge, skill, and or experience in the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) strategies or be willing to receive training in those strategies.• US and Canada resident only.BenefitsMedical Insurance The coverage begins for the employee the on the first of the month following the first full 30 days of full-time employment for employees and their eligible dependents Cost to the employee to participate in the plan varies by the coverage selection and the number of dependents; and may be subject to collective bargaining agreement The employee may also elect to opt out of the County's medical insurance if proof of coverage is provided Under this arrangement, the employee is provided with an annual opt out payment.Vision and Prescription The coverage begins for the employee on the first of the month following the first full 30 days of full-time employment for employees and their eligible dependents Contributions may vary, subject to collective bargaining agreement.Dental Coverage The coverage begins for the employee on the first of the month following the first full 30 days of full-time employment for employees and their eligible dependents Contributions may vary, subject to collective bargaining agreement.
