Job DescriptionRemote – Contract PositionContract Virtual Assistant needed to support multiple magazine publications. Up to 20 hours per week, remote, with a 90-day initial contract and 45-day check-in. Must be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and experienced with Canva, Google Drive, and Asana (a major plus).About UsWe are a publishing group producing multiple magazine publications and a marketing agency. Our creative team manages editorial, advertising, events, and digital marketing. We are seeking a Virtual Assistant to provide contract support with organization, communication, and digital tasks.AgreementContractor will provide up to 20 hours of virtual assistant services per week on an independent contractor basis. This is not an employee position.The initial contract term is 90 days, with a performance review at 45 days to ensure a good fit for both sides before continuing as well as a financial review based on completed work.DeliverablesKeep project management tools updated with tasks, deadlines, and progress.Pull and organize performance metrics from newsletters, websites, and social platforms.Assist with scheduling and posting content to social media platforms.Draft and send follow-up emails to contributors and advertisers using provided templates.Maintain and update contact lists, advertiser databases, and mailing addresses.Prepare newsletters, graphics, and reports for internal review.Support special projects such as research, outreach, and event preparation.Perform light administrative duties such as file organization and data entry.AvailabilityContractor must be available for occasional check-ins and meetings during business hours as mutually agreed.Work can be performed on the contractor’s own schedule, provided deadlines are met.PaymentFlat weekly or monthly rate, or hourly with invoices.No payroll tax withholding — contractor is responsible for their own taxes.ToolsContractor will provide their own computer, internet access, and standard office software.RequirementsPrevious experience as a virtual assistant, administrative assistant, or marketing coordinator preferred.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Proficiency with digital tools such as Canva, Google Drive, and social media platforms.Experience using Asana is a major plus.Clear, professional written communication skills.Application InstructionsTo apply, please submit the following:Your resume.A brief cover letter highlighting your experience with digital tools, content support, or administrative work.
