As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and members, answering phones in a timely manner, and resolving issues with professionalism and courtesy. If you have a passion for healthcare and a strong desire to make a positive impact, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Key Responsibilities• Assure the accurate and timely handling of client and member calls with total follow-through• Provide excellent customer service, responding to client and provider questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner• Answer client and provider questions, including claims payment, status, and coverage information, and interpret client health plan protocol• Backup to the claims processing area by assisting with reports and workflow queues as assigned• Maintain accurate and complete call documentation, and check tracer documentation• Maintain a high level of professionalism, returning incoming calls, and performing other duties as assignedEssential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:• Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume healthcare call center• Knowledge of healthcare claims review or processing• Health Care/Health insurance background• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Availability for an 8-hour shift between 8am to 6pm Central timePreferred QualificationsWhile not required, we would love for you to have:• HMO Managed care Medicare Advantage experience• Experience with BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans• Use of multiple systems, including Teams, Excel, and JiraCareer Growth and DevelopmentAt blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
