The Associate – Interior Design will collaborate with teams to design K–12 layouts that enhance student engagement and wellness.Responsibilities• Design and deliver creative layouts using Revit to visualize environments that energize K–12 schools.• Collaborate with Education Partnership leaders to translate district needs into spatial strategies and physical specifications.• Support the production of 2D space plans, 3D visualizations, finish boards, and digital client presentations.• Source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and color palettes aligned with AmTab’s brand and school district requirements.• Present and revise design proposals in collaboration with school leaders and AmTab sales team members.• Coordinate closely with in-house manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure feasibility of designs.• Stay current with K–12 learning trends, ADA guidelines, and educational wellness design principles.• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and project planning from concept through installation.Skills• 1–3 years of interior design experience in commercial, educational, or public-use spaces.• Proficiency in Revit is required; additional skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite are strongly preferred.• Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.• Must be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.• Experience with furniture specification is a plus.• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and ADA compliance is preferred.• Passion for improving education through design.Education Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field required.Company Overview• Architect specified.
