You will accomplish this through a consultative sales process, building relationships with prospective customers, keeping up to date on market trends, and coordinating activities with internal colleagues.This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories). The Midwest Territory is defined as MN, IA, SD, ND, KS, MO, and NE. Ideally, the Regional Sales Manager would reside within the territory.What You'll Do (Primary Responsibilities)• Regularly meet with existing and prospective customers in person and via video conferencing, providing balanced sales coverage of accounts in the assigned territory• Sell SSD products and services by establishing contacts and developing strong relationships with customers and prospects; recommend product and service solutions• Maintain relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance• Identify new sales opportunities, while retaining current business within existing territory• Achieve an expert level of knowledge and serve as a visible spokesperson for EBSCO SSD products• Work closely with EBSCO Management to effectively price SSD products• Achieve an established new sales quota each fiscal year for SSD products and services• Complete required territorial reporting such as, but not limited to, sales call reports, competitor data, territorial strategy, sales pipeline, and expense reports on a weekly basisYour TeamYou will be welcomed as a member of the Serials Subscription Division's Academic Sales team (a team of about 15 people) and the larger Sales and Marketing organization.
