If a position is listed with both office locations and virtual offerings, Comcast may be willing to consider candidates who live greater than 100 miles from the office for the remote option.)Job SummaryJob DescriptionDUTIES: First-Level Supervisor of engineers responsible for developing, designing, standardizing, and delivering Reference Development Kit (RDK), Test Systems for Broadband, Video, and Home security products QA; use DevOps methodologies including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, monitor practices, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes; use Linux OS; use Quality Assurance practices including Test Plan Creation, Test Case Authoring, and Test Case Execution; use Agile methodologies including Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), iterative development, continuous feedback, and collaboration; manage a capital budget for the test threads; manage and provide oversight for the execution of Test Systems delivery; maintain test systems across various labs; monitor Test systems for usage; uplift Test systems across the Labs; implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems and activities; specify the implementation of Test system standards, Lab standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of Test Systems; oversee the review of Test System designs for quality requirements and considerations; select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function; develop and manage performance metrics; review end work stream requirements; customize, standardize, and train the customers for best productivity of the test systems; manage a team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees; provide subject matter guidance to employees as required; develop processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies; assist in developing and meeting departmental budget. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
