Our food matters not only because it’s integral to good health, but because what kids eat is an essential part of their cultural identity and sense of self.The RoleThe People Operations Manager (POM) is part of the People & Development department, whose primary goal is to ensure our teams feel needed and appreciated. The People Operations Manager will be the functional leader for a team of People Operations Associates to uplift and support Red Rabbit leaders in a systematic way, ensuring team and manager are in professional alignment, and advocating for employees to create opportunities for growth.Reporting to the office of the Chief Business Officer the People Operations Manager supports a team of 200+ employees across urban centers in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR professional or Social Worker who has a passion for social justice in the workplace.Key Responsibilities• Operations Management: Advise, coach and counsel operations management on employee relations issues, and formulate specific measurable actions to help them resolve issues, increase effectiveness, build relationships and achieve business goals.• Employee HR Support: Drive HR functional excellence and process improvement. Support employees. Manage the HRIS system ensuring the integrity of all data entry. Administer various HR policies and procedures.• Administrative Duties: Manage the HRIS system ensuring the integrity of all data entry. Develop internal recruiting strategies for open positions. Collaborate with managers to identify recruitment needs.
