The work you do will be the driving force behind identifying and helping Verizon develop the next generation of plans, promotions, and products that it will bring to market. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to VerizonÂ’s Consumer Group - designing and executing custom research that will influence the trajectory of the organization and its product development and marketing strategies. WeÂ’re looking for someone passionate about end-to-end insights, technology, consumer telecoms product development, and building lasting stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities: Provide Actionable Insights: Conduct research and analysis to uncover valuable information and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations. Be a Trusted Advisor: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, offering guidance and expertise on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with teams across the Consumer Group organization, such as marketing, product development, CX, and design, to align research with business goals. Present Findings Effectively: Communicate research findings compellingly and persuasively, using data visualization and storytelling techniques. Champion the Customer: Advocate for the customer's perspective, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in decision-making. Drive Strategic Planning: Contribute to developing marketing and product strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation. Strategic Thinking: Possess strong business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. What we're looking for YouÂ’ll need to have: Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. Experience in Market Research, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field. Experience in designing research for and conducting quantitative market/survey research with hard-to-reach business decision-makers. Experience translating business needs and objectives into the appropriate research design and actionable insights. Experience translating complex concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Even better if you have one or more of the following: An advanced degree in Market Research, Social Sciences (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, etc.) or Business (e.g., economics, MBA, etc.) or a certification in Market Research (UGA, etc.). Managed agency vendor relationships, including scoping, budgeting, data quality, and timeliness. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in conducting research in the technology or telecoms category. Experience at or working alongside a market research agency or related vendor. Experience with marketing communications on linear TV, mobile, digital, and social media platforms. Analyzed data from multiple sources and provided insights and recommendations tailored to different functions and levels.
