We are looking for a dedicated OR Clinical Systems Analyst like you to be a part of our team.Job Summaryand QualificationsThe OR Scheduling Systems Business Analyst is responsible for optimizing the use of computer system applications within the Operating Room (OR) environment. This role involves assisting OR staff, coordinating system integrations, ensuring data integrity, providing training, and acting as a liaison between the OR and other hospital departments. The analyst contributes to increased productivity and profitability in Surgical Services through effective use of IT and related systems.In this role you will:• Data Analysis & Reporting:• Collect, clean, and analyze OR scheduling data from multiple facilities.• Identify patterns in block utilization, case delays, cancellations, and surgeon access.• Develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making and performance tracking.• Workflow & Process Support:• Document current-state scheduling processes across facilities.• Assist in designing future-state workflows aligned with centralized scheduling goals.• Support change management efforts by providing data and insights to guide adoption.• Participate in and develop standard training materials• Stakeholder Collaboration:• Partner with OR directors, schedulers, surgeons, and administrative teams to understand scheduling needs and constraints.• Facilitate meetings and working sessions to gather feedback and validate proposed changes.• System & Tool Integration:• Ensure standard dictionaries are clean and remain standardized• Ensures standard access templates are maintained• Collaborate with IT and automation teams to support integration of scheduling tools (e.g., PowerApps, EHR modules).• Test and validate scheduling logic and data flows in centralized platforms.• Supports OR Scheduling module in all EMRs• Performance Monitoring:• Track KPIs such as block utilization, open time, and scheduling lead time.• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on data trends.Qualifications:• Minimum 2 years' experience implementing or managing OR scheduling/documentation systems, preferred.• Previous circulator or nurse educator in the OR with a minimum 2 years recent experience, preferred.• 3+ years of Informatics/Analyst experience preferred.• Associate's Degree required• Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Informatics preferred.• Meditech experience preferred"Good people beget good people."- Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr.HCA Healthcare Co-FounderWe are a family 270,000 dedicated professionals!
