In this position you will recruit and encourage students through meaningful conversations, walking alongside them as they prepare for a rewarding academic career. Essential duties include:• Answer inbound calls from students and assist with questions regarding their degree program, class registrations, degree planning, etc.• Make outbound calls to follow up with students on next steps for their academic success.(Approximately 7 hours of the workday will be spent on the phone, actively talking to and assisting students)• Take accurate notes on students account to stay updated on degree progress• Provide exceptional customer service to our students and other university employees primarily over the phone but also in email communication.• Expertly navigate all student issues to complete and accurate resolution, utilizing knowledge of online programs and university policies to connect students with the correct person or department when needed.• Build rapport with students to provide them with a personal connection to the university and to enhance the potential for long-term enrollment retention.• Utilize multiple systems and resources while working with students.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree required• Customer service/sales experience required• Distraction-free workspace (if choosing to work remotely)• Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office, web-based resources, and CRM systems• Previous contact center experience preferredCandidate must have:• Excellent analytical thinking and organizational skills• Ability to perform multiple tasks with detail and initiative• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Commitment to Liberty University’s core values of excellence, mentorship, commitment to a biblical worldview, service-mindedness, and responsible stewardship.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $17.50 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:• 8 hour shift• Day shift• Evening shift• Monday to Friday• Weekends as neededWork Location: Remote
