The ONE will function as a field expert and engage with healthcare providers (HCP/ APP) to ensure the safe and appropriate utilization of Verastem Oncology products. The primary role of the ONE is to collaborate with internal stakeholders and identify educational needs and fulfill knowledge gaps by providing clinical in-services and educational presentations to insure safe and positive customer experience with our products.This position is field based in the Eastern region of the USResponsibilities:• Serve as a strategic education expert across academic and community oncology accounts.• Proactive and reactive education with approved resources to the patient care team members.• Develops a customized educational plan through the analysis of educational gaps and clinical insights that meet the patient care team’s needs and clinical challenges.• Educate on the preparation and administration requirements of Verastem products, including adverse event mitigation, monitoring, and management.• Interpret and communicate relevant clinical education topics to diverse audiences as per materials approved for the role.• Educate on disease state awareness, including clinical and operational aspects of appropriate patient diagnosis.• Conduct peer-to-peer education programs through 1:1 presentations/in-services and other methods approved, which may include round-table discussions, and large audience presentations.• Utilize strategic questioning and active listening to routinely document and share clinical insights.• Attend, support and provide clinical education and/or presentations at relevant medical and nursing conferences and meetings on the national, regional and local level. .• Provide staff support as appropriate at exhibit booths and displays.• Provide support to enhance training initiatives clinically and improve the clinical competencies of the internal sales team as necessary.• As deemed appropriate, collaborate with internal cross functional stakeholders as it relates to the Oncology business (e.g., sales, marketing, clinical operations, clinical value & evidence)• Potentially provide education to patients in patient advocacy meeting settings using materials and messaging tailored and approved for use with such an audience.Qualifications:• Clinical degree including RN, NP, or PA, Master's level education required.• Minimum of 3 years of years pharmaceutical industry, clinical educator, or medical affairs experience required• Minimum of 3 years of Hematology/Oncology clinical experience required• Excellent communication(s), objective setting, influencing, business acumen, and analytical skills.• Demonstrated experience adapting to change and embracing learning.• Demonstrated experience interpreting clinical data.• Recognizes evolving shifts in oncology market trends and respective effects on provider and patient.• Success operating within a cross-functional team.• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications.• The individual must be able to travel 75% of the time, including the ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends.• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.What’s in it for you?IQVIA offers a wide array of benefits to support our employees and their families.
