Overview:MRI Technologist – Full-Time (12 PM – 8 PM) Hours can be flexible.Columbia, SCAs an MRI Technologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging by combining your technical expertise with compassionate patient care. You’ll be responsible for performing MRI scans efficiently and accurately, ensuring both clinical excellence and a positive patient experience. Your ability to integrate scientific knowledge with strong interpersonal skills will help support our commitment to exceptional care.Responsibilities:• Perform MRI scans efficiently while ensuring patient safety and comfort• Screen patients for contraindications and prepare them for procedures• Select appropriate imaging protocols and positioning techniques• Administer contrast agents per regulations• Monitor patient condition and assess image quality during procedures• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and image archiving• Ensure equipment functionality and perform routine maintenance• Uphold high standards of patient care and customer service• Follow safety protocols and regulatory compliance• Participate in continuing education and cross-training as needed• Support quality assurance and maintain confidentiality#ZRQualifications:Education:• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI• Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active• Active state licensure, where applicable• CPR Certification is requiredPrior Experience:• 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required• 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferredSpecial Qualifications:• IV skills required• Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards• Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy• Skill in operation of MRI equipment• Customer service background and focusCompany Message:About MedQuest ImagingFounded in 1996, MedQuest is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States.
