Virtual Care Veterinary Technicians with deep veterinary experience are necessary to provide concise, accurate, consistent education and information to Modern Animal members utilizing our Virtual Care service.What the job entails:• Engaging with Modern Animal users on multiple platforms, including text-based chat, phone, and video• Addressing member concerns regarding the health and well-being of their animals, including both general queries and those directly related to Modern Animal clinic encounters• Reviewing patient medical records before and during interactions to quickly gain relative medical history• Utilizing your veterinary medical knowledge to accurately triage and make recommendations based on patient needs• Recording accurate medical records utilizing appropriate veterinary terminology to include documenting client communications• Verifying and processing prescription requests• Delivering an unparalleled client experience by conveying empathy and warmth over chat, phone or video communication• Utilizing set procedures and protocols at all times• Participating in the evaluation of systems, giving frequent, productive feedback to the Virtual Care Manger, or to the Product team via our internal feedback tool• Growing and thriving in an environment of continuous learning, improvement and excellence• Living and modeling the Modern Animal cultural vision by encouraging work/life balance, self-compassion, and a blame- and judgement-free work environmentWhy you’d be a great fit:• Successful completed the VTNE• Credentialed Veterinary Technician licensed for minimum of two years• At least two years of experience in the practice of small animal veterinary medicine.
