This role will primarily support the planning, scheduling, and strategy execution across CBS Sports' programming portfolio, which includes the NFL, UFC, Soccer, College Football, College Basketball, Golf and other major sports properties. The Manager will work closely with team members on a range of business activities and serve as a key liaison across internal departments to ensure the successful implementation of programming initiatives on both linear and digital platforms.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Provide day-to-day support for programming team members across all business activities, initiatives, and issues.• Manage and update program schedules across CBS Sports' linear and digital platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely communication of any changes. Communicate schedules to external partners.• Assist in the weekly coordination of NFL regionalizations and affiliate game assignments throughout the NFL season, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of broadcast schedules across all markets.• Assist in the development, implementation, and management of CBS Sports' programming strategies across assigned properties.• Contribute to both short- and long-term planning and execution for assigned programming properties, helping to align content strategy with broader business goals.• Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, including Production, Marketing, Distribution, Communications, and Sales, to ensure alignment and successful rollout of programming plans.• Monitor the competitive landscape and industry developments, providing regular updates and insights to the programming department to help inform decisions and maintain a competitive edge.• Enter and maintain accurate programming information in scheduling platforms such as Broadway and Airtable, ensuring timely updates and consistency across all broadcast, cable and digital schedules.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree required; degree in sports management, communications, or a related field preferred.• 3+ years of experience in sports media, programming, scheduling, or a related field.Additional Qualifications:• Strong sports knowledge and passion.• Exemplary communication and relationship management skills. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
