They are advocates for merchandising, supporting Sephora leadership across the organization. The full Merchandising Strategy team focuses on four cross-world pillars of the merchandising organization: The Sephora Accelerate Program, governance, budget & strategic planning.Your role at Sephora: The Manager, Merchandising Strategy, plays a pivotal role in advancing cross-category initiatives that drive the strategic direction of the Merchandising organization. This role closely partners with senior leaders to develop compelling, insight-driven narratives and high-impact content that influence Merchandising decision-making at the highest levels, including Sephora & LVMH executives.The individual will lead the creation of strategic content, reports & storytelling frameworks that articulate key business priorities across all Merchandising categories. With a deep understanding of Merchandising strategies and organizational goals, the Manager will distill complex information into clear, executive-ready deliverables that inspire action & alignment.• Strategic Content Development: Lead the creation of high-impact presentations and reports that translate merchandising strategies into compelling, executive-ready narratives in alignment with senior stakeholders.• Executive Storytellin Translate merchandising strategies into compelling narratives that highlight cross-category insights, performance trends & innovation.• Leadership Engagement: Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, ensuring alignment & clarity across categories through proactive communication, collaboration & relationship building.• Event Support: Own the content strategy and execution for major internal events (e.g., Town Halls, brand and field conferences), including scripting, visual storytelling, and supporting elements like video production, invite lists, and gifting.• Project Management: Support key initiatives through accurate and timely reporting of results. Oversee the development of dashboards & reporting tools that share information, track progress, measure impact, and enable data-driven decisions making across merchandising.• Continuous Improvement: Champion new tools, technologies, and ways of working that enhance strategic storytelling, collaboration, and efficiencies across the organizationWe’re excited about you if you have:• 5+ years of retail experience• Proven experience in merchandising, strategy, or a related field, with proficiency partnering with senior leadership and experience receiving, interpreting and adapting feedback.• Exceptional written and visual communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and visually engaging content.• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy across all deliverables.• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity through collaboration and insight.• Proficiency in collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, ThoughtSpot, Tableau, SharePoint, etc.) and a willingness to adopt new technologies.• Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.The annual base salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $128,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
