Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend business process improvements aligned with community needs and operational efficiency.Key responsibilities -• Conduct collection audits and usage analysis for physical and digital assets• Recommend weeding strategies and reallocation of physical materials• Evaluate digital licensing models and vendor platforms• Identify opportunities for digitization, consortia participation, and shared services• Map current workflows and propose process improvements (e.g., acquisitions, cataloging, circulation)• Prepare stakeholder-ready documentation and presentationsMinimum Qualifications:• Experience: At least four (4) years within the last five (5) years in consulting or developing IT solutions related to restructuring, business process management, or modernization.• Domain Expertise: Minimum of four (4) years within the last five (5) years of experience or working knowledge of public libraries, educational institutions, or similar organizations in IT Strategic Planning.• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Library Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).• Skills:• Strong understanding of library operations, cataloging systems, and digital library technologies.• Proven experience in IT project management, process analysis, and system integration.• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with Integrated Library Systems (ILS), Library Services Platforms (LSP), or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for libraries.• Familiarity with emerging trends in digital libraries, AI-driven search tools, and user experience design.• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or ITIL is a plus.
