This role is responsible for shaping a premium audiobook catalog that delivers both listener satisfaction and scalable economic value. The ideal candidate combines industry expertise with strong business judgment, analytical rigor, and cross-functional leadership. You will use data, insights, and market knowledge to ensure our catalog offers the right titles at the right value, balancing cultural relevance with audience growth and overall sustainability. Comfort with AI prompting and tool sets is highly valuable.What You'll Do• Centralize strategies and develop frameworks for value management and catalog composition analysis.• Define business goals, success criteria, and hypotheses for testing, including geo-targeting rules for launches and cohort optimization strategies.• Align on economic guardrails for new markets and initiatives, monitoring and proactively identifying issues and resolutions.• Identify and lead catalog enhancement initiatives that drive business goals and target distinct audiences or catalog subsets.• Develop catalog recommendations to support company “Bets” and other strategic initiatives.• Use AI tools and prompting techniques to accelerate analysis, automate catalog management tasks, and surface insights from large datasets.• Experiment with AI-driven frameworks (e.g., recommendation tuning, content tagging, catalog simulations) to complement human judgment and improve decision-making.Who You Are• A strong cross-functional collaborator, able to balance diverse stakeholder needs (Editorial, Licensing, Product, Finance, Growth).• A strategic thinker who can balance short-term optimization with long-term vision.• A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, learns quickly, and takes smart risks.• Experienced in translating statistical and financial insights into actionable business recommendations.• Skilled in defining success metrics, testing hypotheses, and interpreting statistically significant results.• Curious about how AI can enhance catalog strategy, and eager to experiment with prompting techniques and AI-driven tools to improve insights and efficiency.• Comfortable working with large datasets and dashboards in tools like Tableau; experience with SQL, BigQuery, Python, or R is a plus.• Have at least 2+ years of experience in the music, podcast, video, book, or video gaming industries.• Hold a four-year college degree.Where You'll Be• We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the US region as long as we have a work location.• This team operates across EST time zones for collaboration.The United States base range for this position is $120,105 to $171,578 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave.
