Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Life Changing Solutions, LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping individuals and families navigate their challenges. This role involves providing therapeutic support, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans for clients, particularly focusing on children and families. The LCSW will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.Responsibilities• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address mental health issues, including PTSD, addiction, and behavioral challenges.• Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.• Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments.• Provide crisis intervention and management for clients in distress.• Engage in case management activities to coordinate care across multiple services.• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and manage medical records efficiently.• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs.• Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection to enhance service delivery.• Offer home and community care services as needed, ensuring access to resources for families.• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.Qualifications• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; must hold a valid LCSW license.• Experience in psychotherapy with a focus on child & family counseling is preferred.• Familiarity with EMR systems for effective patient care management.• Background in behavioral therapy techniques including applied behavior analysis is advantageous.• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding practices is beneficial.• Strong skills in crisis intervention, patient assessment, and case management are essential.• Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics and individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.• Ability to conduct clinical research and contribute to the advancement of mental health practices.• Excellent communication skills with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
