We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Consultant Professional Services ATC to join our team, working remotely and contributing to our ongoing success in the technology and communications industry.Job Overview and ResponsibilitiesAs a Lead Consultant Professional Services ATC, you will play a pivotal role in leading consultative engagements, assessing network environments, and architecting designs for data center and network solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in creating meaningful, cohesive deliverables that meet our high standards. Key responsibilities include:• Leading technical aspects of delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining accurate timekeeping for billing purposes.• Demonstrating broad product knowledge with customers within a specific discipline and working independently on highly complex projects.• Collaborating with clients from identification through final invoicing, managing project activities, and fulfilling billable consulting service projects.• Acting as a subject matter expert within a specific discipline, typically leading an engagement team or being the sole consulting resource on a project.• Creating recommendations and implementing new methods, techniques, and procedures to drive success.• Participating in National Practice operations, process improvement, and training calls, as well as taking accountability for professional development and career growth.Essential Qualifications and SkillsTo excel in this role, you will need:• 10+ years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing complex networks as part of a large enterprise network team or within professional services or network integration environments.• A strong understanding of internetworking technologies, including IPv4 and IPv6, WAN and iWAN expertise, and experience with transport and access technologies such as MPLS, Private Line, Hybrid WAN, Internet, Complex Ethernet, Internet VPN, DWDM, and wireless.• LAN expertise, including planning, design, and deployment experience, as well as data center expertise, including core, distribution, and segmentation.• IP routing knowledge, including OSPF, BGP, M-BGP, EIGRP capabilities, and corresponding configurations, as well as experience with load balancing, DNS/DHCP, NAT, WANx, and proxies.• A Bachelor's degree and industry certifications such as CCIE, or proven equivalent experience with CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP.• Very strong leadership, documentation, and project management skills, with the ability to lead complex networking engagements in large environments.Preferred Qualifications and SkillsWhile not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:• Experience with SDN, Juniper, Velocloud, VMware/Virtualization, and/or IoT.• Knowledge of network virtualization technologies and experience with Cisco ACI SDN technologies.• Familiarity with firewall design, configuration, network segmentation, and implementation, such as Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Fortinet, etc.• Understanding of load-balancing and F5 experience.Career Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt AT&T, we believe in rewarding talent and providing opportunities for growth and development.
