OverviewThis is a remote position that can be hired in multiple markets across the United States.We are looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Automation Engineers to join our growing Corporate Credit Card delivery team, which provides technology solutions and integration services in following areas: Corporate Credit Cards, Credit Card Risk Underwriting, Credit Card Portfolio Management, and Merchant Services.We have a highly engaged team of engineers and are driving a new custom developed platform and implementing automated testing on all newly developed projects. We are looking for people who have a passion for problem solving, teamwork, and excellence.The ideal candidate would be responsible for engineering automated solutions to perform independent quality checks and developing methods of measuring the quality and performance of the functional testing processes. Maintains QA Automated stack and partners to coordinate testing and evaluation activities that identify issues, trends and gaps in existing programs. Provides and independent assessment of the programs, policies and procedures tested and provides feedback to management. Creates the Quality Assurance (QA) testing strategy and documentation, while collaborating with the project teams to create the project test plan. Works with project and development teams on the testing timeline and schedule to ensure coordination across multiple groups. Evaluates the testing environment setup to ensure all requirements are met and continually advances automation within and across the team. Serves as a mentor to less experienced teammates and leads testing meetings and routines where appropriate.Responsibilities• Develops Automated QA Testing - Designs, consults with the team and business, and develops automated testing capabilities that accelerate team testing. Capabilities include, test data management (setup/teardown), development of automated tests for backend and UI, integration of tests into Gitlab pipelines, reporting of automated testing in aggregated reporting tools (e.g. Xray or similar).• Independent Testing & Validation - Writes test cases based on requirements and user stories provided and performs manual testing as needed. Creates testing plans and test cases and loads them into the appropriate tools. Participates in defect meetings and overall project plan routines to present analysis on current defects as well as re-tested defects.• Data Analysis - Sources, compiles and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiency, and effectively communicates analysis output.• Risk Management - Contributes to the mitigation of risk in the Information Technology organization by thoroughly testing and performing quality checks of existing programs, policies and procedures.• Business Strategy - Assists in leading the Quality Assurance testing teams by creating test plans, developing the testing timelines and schedules, and coordinating workstreams across multiple teams.QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a Financial Services organization OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a Financial Services organization• Required• Advanced Test Automation Strategy & Plan Development• Intermediate to Advanced experience with Java based test frameworks• Advanced level of expertise with Behavior Driven Development (e.g. Cucumber)• Advanced Microservices & API testing (e.g. REST Assured)• Intermediate experience composing and managing test data• Moderate experience curating and executing integration and end-to-end testing• Preferred• Intermediate Browser UI test automation (e.g. Selenium)• Knowledge of with Spring based systems and patterns• Hands on expertise with mocking & service virtualization• Moderate SQL knowledgeThe base pay for this position is generally between $105,000 and $130,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
