This entry-level position helps bring the church’s message to life by producing engaging visual and digital content that informs, inspires, and invites the community into a deeper connection with God and one another.RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to –Social MediaCollaborate on strategy development for ICC’s social media communityPlan, create, and schedule content for our various platformsCapture and edit photo/video content during services and events for real-time or later useMonitor engagement and respond to comments/messages in alignment with church voice, escalating inquiries as neededGraphic DesignAssist in modifying and using established designs and branding for social media, web, email, etc.Help maintain and evolve brand guidelines across the churchCross-Team CollaborationCollaborate with ministry leaders to assess communication and design needsProactively plan for upcoming needs and develop reusable design templates and assetsParticipate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and creative brainstormsQUALIFICATIONS:Strong work ethic; Team player; ability to learn fast and execute quickly.Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as a team to meet deadlinesAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyServant heartedHumble and teachableWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Working knowledge of project management applications such as MondayWorking knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite)Familiarity with Planning Center is a plus but not requiredNEEDED ATTRIBUTES:A commitment to Jesus Christ and a life that demonstrates consistency with biblical standards, including compatibility with the church’s statement of faith and its governing values.High level of personal and professional integrityDemonstrate a high degree of loyalty and the capability of protecting the confidentiality of sensitive matters related to the church organization.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Constant sitting, standing, moving and viewing of screens.
