This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsWe are seeking Health & Beauty Experts to collaborate with a leading AI lab on building trusted, inclusive, and data-driven beauty recommendations. You'll identify and evaluate high-quality skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrance products-explaining clearly and objectively why they're great buys across different budgets and preferences. This is a short-term, project-based opportunity with complete flexibility to set your own hours and work remotely.RequirementsKey Responsibilities• Evaluate beauty products based on ingredients, formulation quality, skin tone/undertone match, and hair type or texture suitability.• Write concise, well-structured recommendations with links, specifications, pros/cons, and clear descriptions of who each product best suits.• Compare products across different price tiers and retailers; highlight both value-for-money and premium options.• Assess inclusivity across tones, textures, and sensitivities while ensuring safety and avoiding any medical or therapeutic claims.• Create structured comparisons and short buyer's guides reflecting real-world usage scenarios.• Review, refine, and enhance AI-suggested product lists by adding context, annotations, and factual corrections.Ideal Qualifications• Hands-on experience in beauty retail, salon, makeup artistry, esthetics, beauty editorial, or as a knowledgeable beauty enthusiast.• Strong ability to evaluate products objectively and communicate insights clearly and succinctly.• Comfort with cross-shopping across retailers and price points, including linking, comparing, and summarizing specifications.• Inclusive and responsible approach to product evaluation and claims.• Bonus points for: esthetician/cosmetologist license, fragrance taxonomy knowledge, or textured-hair expertise.More About the Opportunity• Fully remote and asynchronous - work on your own schedule.• Flexible weekly workload; project flow may vary.• Short-term, project-based engagement with potential for ongoing work.• Full autonomy over working style, with a support team available for queries.Compensation & Contract Terms• $40-$70 per hour (USD), depending on expertise and quality of work.• Weekly payments for completed work via Stripe Connect.• Independent contractor role - you set your own hours.• Scope and rates may vary by project.
