They even consult on the design of visuals within the actual Vectorworks product suite to improve user experience.ResponsibilitiesDuring This Internship You Will• Collaborate with our creative team of designers, writers, web developers, and videographers to produce visually appealing marketing materials.• Contribute to a wide range of projects from slicks to postcards, posters, emails, icons, success stories, manuals, tradeshow materials, web graphics, and more.• Do production work that includes, but is not limited to, formatting, exporting, uploading, and collection of all project types.• Engage in cross-functional projects with mentorship, gaining hands-on experience in a professional setting.• Walk away with strong pieces to add to your portfolio.QualificationsHere Is What Success Looks Like:• Bringing a developed design sense with a good grasp of layout, visual hierarchy, and typography.• Being motivated with the ability to show initiative, prioritize, and meet deadlines.• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.• Exposure to design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma is a plus. These can be learned during the internship session.• Experience with project management applications like Wrike, Trello, or Asana is a plus.Our designers are Mac users and most work will be done on a Mac.2024 Internship session:Summer: June 10 - Aug. 16Fall: Sept.16 – Dec 6The ultimate goal of our internship program is to provide students with a learning and training experience that will allow them the opportunity to apply the skills learned in the classroom in a professional work environment. Although, we would like to offer interns the opportunity to join our workforce on a full-time basis, an offer for a full-time position after an internship is not guaranteed.Eligibility requirements for internships:• Spring & Fall internships require 16-20 hours of work per week. Summer is 40 hours per week.• You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program in your Sophomore, Junior or Senior year.• This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on applicant's qualifications. We currently do not provide housing, relocation, or transportation reimbursement.
