Primary responsibilities include bridging the space between product and sales – bringing a comprehensive and cohesive view of Cigna Healthcare products and capabilities to the market with compelling messaging and sell tactics to achieve goals. This includes leading projects that improve how sales teams position solutions in market, ensure successful launches of new or improved products, as well as research to identify new opportunities to improve retention and growth. This role will partner closely with Solutions, Marketing, and Producer Relations teams to equip our Segments with the support they need to successfully manage client and broker events, as well as challenging market selling dynamics, making Cigna Healthcare the partner of choice. This role will also serve as a consultative partner to Sales, Account Management and matrix teams to evaluate custom client/prospect requests and assess feasibility to commit.Primary Responsibilities• Know the most important solution needs of respective employer buyer group based on business, segment and product strategy• Know features, options and design of U.S. Employer Cigna Healthcare products and services• Can work cross-enterprise (inclusive of Evernorth) on emerging and in market capabilities; partners to influence from a CHC/Over 3000/Vertical buyer perspective as appropriate• Understands the Client and Customer interactions and experiences of Cigna Healthcare product and services• Works with segment leadership to understand and deliver against priorities, negotiate and manage stopgap or bridge solutions as needed• Actively studies and understands market disruptors and trends• Interacts with markets to identify local needs and similarities and differences across segments• Can explain in very clear terms the most important solution needs of respective employer buyer group and what is required to win• Work with enterprise and local partners to compile actionable, local competitive intelligence• Partners with segment leaders and frontline sales to translate buyer group needs into product/solution strategy and solution requirements• Synthesizes product and service “gaps” for solution development and investments required• Identify and lead other key initiatives that will require complex problem solving and interaction across a highly matrixed organization.• Interface with Market to ensure adherence to end to end go-to-market and product strategy• Provide client / consultant support (utilizing enterprise resources and Solution SMEs as needed)• Develop and lead go to market strategy, partner with Sales Operations and Effectiveness to communicate new capabilities, product messaging and positioning, and other market message type forums.• Responsible for ensuring sales trainings, FAQ, pertinent collateral regarding the value related to certain solutions and/or strategies, tracks progress towards product adoption goals as appropriateQualifications• 5+ years’ experience in Product/Marketing/Sales or comparable field, healthcare experience is required• Experience working and being effective in a highly matrixed organization• Demonstrates the capacity to synthesize complex information from disparate sources into a clear compelling story• Goal oriented and personally accountable; resourceful and self-directed• Ability to independently build effective relationships, effectively influence others in cross-functional teams and influence business partners• Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills with experience presenting to both internal and external audiences• Ability to problem solve, identify and remove roadblocks, triage and prioritize issues• Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship, and listening skills• Strong communication skills with ability to convey complex and technical information in an understandable way• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously• Positive and team-oriented attitude and approach to getting work done• Proven understanding of sales and marketing across the broader health plan• Adaptable, flexible, and able to lead/manage through change• Ability to travel up to 20%If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, age, disability, sex, childbirth (including pregnancy) or related medical conditions including but not limited to lactation, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, religion, national origin, ancestry, marital or familial status, genetic information, status with regard to public assistance, citizenship status or any other characteristic protected by applicable equal employment opportunity laws.
