The Associate Designer will report to the Senior Designer.An ideal candidate will be hardworking, organized, highly communicative and exceptionally creative.As a member of high performing and fun Design and Merchandising department you will be involved with our swim, active, and apparel categories (knits & wovens). You will be supporting our Design team to drive our vision across all aspects of the design process from concept to proto approval as well as the organization of that process. Research and present on-trend concepts, seasonal prints, and color that uphold the Frankies Bikinis aesthetic. • Research and present concepts and trends for our PINK by Frankies Bikinis brand which is sold exclusively by Victoria’s Secret. • Develop detailed flat and hand sketches that align with the brand’s direction and overall aesthetic. • Create seasonal material briefs for fabric, print, color and trim for the Development team. • Create tech packs and call out sheets for the Technical Design team. • Responsible for artwork, strike off and color comments in partnership with Development team. • Build strong, dynamic and synergistic relationships with cross-functional partners, Technical Design, Product Development, Marketing, Merchandising and Production. • Support the Design team as needed on day to day tasks. 2 -3 years of experience design experience with a women’s contemporary brand.Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Design. • Highly proficient of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a must. • Creative and innovative with strong illustration skills. • The base salary range for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year and is full time.Actual salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, candidate’s related work experience.Frankies Bikinis is a global online destination for fashion-forward swimwear founded in 2012 by Francesca Aiello.Since the company’s inception, the brand has evolved into a lifestyle brand, expanding product offerings to include apparel, beauty, and footwear.We’re a fast-paced, highly-collaborative, customer-centric, swimwear-loving and solutions-oriented team.We’re also big fans of dogs, snacks, and not taking ourselves too seriously.We’re always looking for intelligent, kind, and passionate and ambitious people to join us and help us bring our amazing products to the world.
