You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.• Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning.• Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to business leaders across the globe.• Drive accountability across the Amazon Finance Operations team leading weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews.• Create tools and processes that enable the Amazon Fresh Stores Operations leadership team to diagnose the business and achieve operational goals.• Contribute to work life harmony by being a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to new team members as an indicator of operations excellence.About The TeamAmazon Fresh Stores Operations Finance is part of the Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) Operations team. GSF covers a portfolio of businesses with unique fulfillment and operational capabilities such as Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market Online, Amazon Heavy/Bulky, Same Day Operations, Locker+, and Treasure Truck. Our Finance teams partner closely with our operations teams to influence the strategic direction of the business, drive operations excellence, and make sound investment and expansion decisions, with the primary goal of continuously improving the customer experience while driving long-term profitability for our portfolio of businesses. Our teams experiment, fail fast, learn, and scale rapidly, and we have a culture of data-driven decision-making.Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work in a highly collaborative environment that’s more start-up than big company. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical in this role. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
