For more information, visitSituated within the Corporate Affairs function, and reporting to our Senior Director of Global External Communications, you will be responsible for delivering external communications that advances PepsiCo’s digitalization narrative and the thought leadership of the Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer (CS&TO). You will be responsible for leading the social media presence for the CS&TO and developing proactive external communications that positions PepsiCo as an intelligent CPG company by partnering closely with the Global Internal Communications team, Strategy & Transformation leadership, and local market teams around the world.This is a hybrid role located in our Purchase, NY office.#LI-HybridResponsibilities• Contribute to an always-on earned and social media ecosystem to support PepsiCo’s digitalization narrative and position the company as an intelligent CPG company.• Lead the content creation and strategy for the social media pages (LinkedIn, Twitter) for PepsiCo’s Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, developing engaging content that upholds PepsiCo’s reputation on social media.• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify storytelling opportunities that can be optimized for social, developing content that is compelling, clear, and aligned with broader business initiatives.• Manage internal approval process on each piece of content across various stakeholders.• Contribute to media relations efforts in support of digitalization narrative: source interesting pitch angles, develop key messages, pitch journalists, land stories.• Stay abreast of the news environment in order to recommend timely and target-right earned and social media opportunities.• Support the CS&TO’s engagement at conferences, including content preparation and pre- and post-event media coordination.• Review and vet inbound opportunities including speaking engagements, media inquiries, and other externally-facing content.Compensation and Benefits:• The expected compensation range for this position is between $81,000- $135,600 based on a full-time schedule• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary• Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out Annually.• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement• In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement PlanQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.• 5 years of progressive experience in communications; either at an agency or in-house.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience in the technology space is a plus.• Experience developing social media content for executives that resonates on social channels.• Strong media relations skills and demonstrated ability to secure media placements in business and tech media.• Ability to take complex topics and distill to easily-understood language.• Interested in the tech space and a desire to learn more.• Solid judgment of what drives news and makes an interesting story.• Excellent writing skills, even under tight deadlines.• Grace under pressure and poise among senior executives.• Ability to multitask and prioritize requests in a dynamic, matrixed, fast-paced environment.• Team player with a collaborative, inclusive style.• Highly responsive, with the ability to maintain effective decision making while working in a global, highly visible, fast-paced environment.COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role.
