As a Senior Data Analyst at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Subscriber Tasks capability within the Data Analysis group, responsible for the valuation of subscriber adjusts across the blithequark Streaming portfolio.Job OverviewThis remote job opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $27/hour and is based in New York, USA. As a Senior Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to support ongoing subscriber estimating for various business-critical drives. You will work closely with our upstream informing partners to ensure accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected. Additionally, you will help identify subscribers impacted by incidents requiring essential and legal remediations, collaborating with incident management, Business Operations, and trade engineering to ensure the integrity of our subscriber adjusts and that clients receive refunds when required.Key Responsibilities• Manage data entry and record data requirements related to subscriber informing drives and incident remediation, ensuring that the right clients receive refunds when required.• Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes directly committing, to determine accurate partners of subscribers for informing and/or remediation.• Communicate business requirements to technical teams and provide brief summaries of technical progress and/or roadblocks to business stakeholders.• Develop strong knowledge of subscriber adjusts and the technical system that underlies subscriber data.• Manage project planning and schedules, and oversee cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events.• Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of strong communication processes and operational playbooks.• In collaboration with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering, contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents.Essential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:• 3+ years of work experience developing in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline.• 3+ years of analytical experience.• Proven ability to deliver technical and/or analytical concepts to a broad range of audiences.• Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages.• Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc.• Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills.• A degree in a quantitative field.Preferred QualificationsWhile not required, the following qualifications are desirable:• Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis).• Postgraduate education.• Knowledge of Airflow.Career Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
