You will be responsible for ensuring the integration of resources, end-to-end deployment testing, DevOps practices, deployment, and delivery on demand. This position is an essential part of our team, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about helping us drive our Group Booking and Recovery product offering efforts forward.Key Responsibilities• Supervise vendor management, partner management, and oversight to deliver systems that are complete, scheduled, and managed over life cycles.• Research issues, plan solutions, recommend software and systems, and guide advancements in an organized way to meet business requirements.• Monitor and test performance and capacity for potential bottlenecks, identify potential solutions, and work with partners to implement fixes.• Provide and ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and resolve escalations of moderate to medium to high complexity.• Implement and update the platform strategy and roadmap.• Maintain awareness of technology trends in the area of responsibility and make appropriate recommendations.• Maintain and direct computer and data networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.• Meet responsibilities and expectations associated with participating/driving projects.• Gather information relating to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements.• Develop and execute integrated testing strategies using test-driven development principles to ensure solution integrity and quality.• May perform other work duties as directed by Supervisor's Managers.Essential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a strong foundation in systems development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologies. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve issues of moderate to high complexity. Additionally, you should have solid knowledge of hardware components, systems, software, and networking technologies, as well as experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, solution development, and performance optimization within specific technology areas.Preferred QualificationsWhile not required, we prefer candidates who have experience with Agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud-based technologies. You should be skilled in strong partnering, communication, and collaboration in working with Business Clients and Technology support. You should also have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.Skills and CompetenciesTo excel in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in systems engineering, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should be skilled in problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
