Our commitment to excellence and our passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors have earned us a reputation as a leader in the healthcare industry.Job OverviewThe primary purpose of this Remote Long-Term Care Data Entry Technician position is to perform computer data entry of prescription orders and medical records, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality patient care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and contributing to the well-being of our patients.Position DetailsThis is a remote position, and the schedule will be 1PM-9:30PM Mon-Fri, with every other Saturday and Sunday from 9AM-5:30PM. To be eligible for this position, you must currently live in a state where blithequark is licensed, including AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, MA, MI, MO, PA, OH, and WI. Experience with FrameWorks LTC is required, and experience with Docutrack is preferred.Key Responsibilities• Contact physician's offices as needed for refill authorization, ensuring timely and accurate communication.• Contact clients for verification of orders as needed, providing exceptional customer service and support.• Process all new and refill prescriptions, maintaining productivity and quality standards.• Open orders as needed, verify eligibility, proof, and input prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.• Document correspondence and follow up in the system, maintaining clear and concise records.• Prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to managers, contributing to continuous quality improvement.• Forward incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution, tracking status in the system and ensuring timely resolution.• Initiate and document correspondence and follow up in the system, maintaining open communication and collaboration with team members.• May assist with research of lost or missing orders per internal department requests, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.• May provide backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels, showcasing teamwork and dedication.• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide a high standard of customer service to clients, ensuring exceptional patient care and support.Qualifications and RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED).• A Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements.• Long-term care pharmacy experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and patient-centered care.• Experience with FrameWorks and Docutrack is preferred, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.• The ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to patient care.Preferred Qualifications• Pharmacy data entry experience, with a minimum of one year, demonstrating expertise and efficiency in data entry and pharmacy operations.• Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Why Join blithequark?At blithequark, we offer a unique and rewarding work environment, with a strong focus on employee ownership and patient-centered care.
