This position requires a deep understanding of rate lock policies and the ability to enforce them while providing exceptional support to our team. For advanced candidates, there will be opportunities to provide real-time training, suggest process enhancements, and offer support across Secondary Marketing and other cross-functional departments.Key Responsibilities• Process Management: Efficiently process rate lock requests using Encompass, ensuring clear and effective communication with requestors as needed.• Request Handling: Manage change requests, reprice requests, and extension requests, while assisting Loan Officers with post-lock file inquiries.• Collaboration and Implementation: Work closely with the Mortgage Department Team to implement system changes, test new processes, and enhance process flows.• Support and Inquiry Management: Assist with system, product, and procedural inquiries, ensuring that all stakeholders have the information they need to perform their roles effectively.• Pipeline Monitoring: Monitor pipeline locks and collaborate with sales and operations teams to determine necessary actions, ensuring that our mortgage lending operations run smoothly and efficiently.Essential Qualifications and SkillsTo excel in this role, candidates should possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with the demands of a fast-paced mortgage lending environment.• Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.• Experience: 1+ years of Mortgage Lending Experience is preferred, with prior experience in Secondary Marketing or Capital Markets being highly advantageous.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word, is essential.
