As a Loan Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch support to our loan officers, processors, and underwriters, ensuring the smooth operation of our loan origination systems and services.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this dynamic role, your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional support to our internal stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:• Providing daily loan support for all company employees via a ticketing system, inbound phone calls, email, and in-person interactions, covering all company systems and software.• Offering guidance and troubleshooting assistance to Loan Officers, Loan Processors, Underwriters, and other teams on the usage of loan origination systems and services.• Assisting Loan Officers and Loan Processors in finding answers regarding loan eligibility and lending guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.• Performing loan-level administrative tasks within the loan origination system, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.• Tracking tasks, activities, and time spent within the ticketing system, ensuring transparency and productivity.• Providing outstanding customer service in person, on the phone, and via the ticketing system, adhering to our high standards of customer satisfaction.• Collaborating among team members to achieve common goals, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance.Essential QualificationsTo excel in this role, you will need:• An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.• A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Loan Processor or Loan Officer in the mortgage industry, with a deep understanding of loan origination processes.• At least 3 years' experience using Encompass360 Banker's Edition in a production role, demonstrating proficiency in loan origination systems.• A minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct support to employees or customers, showcasing your excellent customer service skills.• Experience utilizing a ticketing system to handle Loan Support questions is preferred, highlighting your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.• Knowledge of mortgage loan origination activities, loan programs, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.• Knowledge of the use of verification, credit, appraisal, title, pricing, and automated underwriting services as they relate to mortgage loan origination, demonstrating your expertise in the field.• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.Preferred QualificationsWhile not required, the following qualifications will be considered an asset:• Additional years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a focus on loan support or a related field.• Certifications or designations in the mortgage industry, such as a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or a Certified Loan Officer (CLO).• Experience with other loan origination systems or software, demonstrating your ability to adapt to new technologies.• A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues in the mortgage industry, ensuring adherence to industry standards.Skills and CompetenciesTo succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies:• Excellent communication and customer service skills , with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills , with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.• Proficiency in loan origination systems and software , with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues in the mortgage industry, ensuring adherence to industry standards.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team , with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.• Strong organizational and time management skills , with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Career Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt our company, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
