As a Lead Product / UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive and delightful user experiences for our suite of products. Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and fellow designers, to shape the user interface and overall user experience. Your primary focus will be on understanding user needs, conducting user research, and translating insights into innovative design solutions that align with Salesforce's design principles and business objectives.Key Responsibilities• Communicate Clear and Compelling Ideas: Utilize documentation, reviews, and presentations to communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key stakeholders.• Bridging Teams: Serve as a bridge connecting design, product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and user-centered approach.• Product Vision: Work closely with product owners, engineers, and user research to create a vision for the product area, overseeing multiple web and mobile application features, interfaces, and experiences.• Design Excellence: Create designs that adhere to and extend the existing style guide, generating detailed final design specs that inspire accurate developer builds.• Collaboration and Mentorship: Work with developers and quality experts to deliver a polished final product, promote and educate others on new interface guidelines and design patterns, and mentor new design staff.• Inclusive Design: Set the vision for a product’s creative identity, articulate it clearly and convincingly, and guide the team through its implementation, ensuring inclusive designs for all users and advocating for accessibility.Essential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or a related field.• Experience: Proven experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work for web and/or mobile applications, ideally within enterprise software or SaaS products.
