As a Member Services Representative, you'll be an integral part of our team, working remotely and enjoying the flexibility and autonomy that comes with it.Job OverviewIn this exciting role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling day-to-day operations related to check processing, item processing, direct payments, and funds transfers at American Airlines Credit Union. You'll work closely with various departments, including the Payments and Digital Systems team, to ensure seamless transactions and resolve any issues that may arise. If you're a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:• Complete data entry and reconciliations• Coordinate return items with individuals, external vendors, the Federal Reserve, and other organizations• Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member requests, and related Accounting general ledger reconciliations• Work member cases/activities assigned• Follow and maintain policies and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA rules and regulations and Federal Banking laws• Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, such as IRA, bankruptcy, and result• Review, research, and support Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products• Log, research, and make necessary GL, account adjustments, and/or returns• Process Stop Pays and Check Clustering• Complete daily balancing and branch closing• Acquire information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic funds transfer requests• Research and verify incoming and outgoing funds transfer information• Communicate with merchants to handle funds transfers• Understand and be aware of outgoing and incoming funds transfer regulations• Store check returns, research member returned items, draft changes, process member checks, verify members for social funds transfers, and Federal Reserve verification and delivery of funds transfers• Complete daily processing of workflows related to late returns, source of receipts, foreign collections, and legal feesEssential Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you'll need:• Bachelor's degree• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Word and Excel• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision• Excellent customer service skills• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously• Ability to perform numerical calculations and analyze data• Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressurePreferred Qualifications:If you have the following, you'll be an even stronger candidate:• Past client/member service experience• Past banking or Credit Union experience• Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPointSkills and Competencies:To excel in this role, you'll need to possess:• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills• Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and members• Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionCareer Growth Opportunities:At American Airlines, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
