This role is an excellent opportunity for new, experienced, and retired teachers alike to make a real difference in the lives of students. As a Math Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention. You will deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.Key Responsibilities• Instruct Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.• Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.• Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.• Other duties as assigned.Essential Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or related field.• Teaching Certificate preferred.• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.• Willingness and ability to teach Math to various grade levels.• Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred.Preferred Qualifications• Experience working with at-risk youth or students who are struggling.• Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.Skills and Competencies Required for SuccessTo excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies:• Strong instructional skills and ability to adapt to different learning styles.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Strong organizational and time management skills.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Career Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsWe offer a range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits to support your professional development and success:• Competitive pay ($25-$28 per hour).• Robust benefit package offered to our full-time employees (30 or more hours per week).• Company support and quality assurance from both local and national support teams.• Complete package of curriculum, teaching materials, and supplies provided.• Paid training and planning/prep time.• Reimbursement for coursework related to recertification.• Consistent schedules.• Growth potential.• Opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students.Work Environment and Company CultureWe are committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that supports the well-being and success of our employees.
